On August 18th, 2015, 'LEGAL': An Exhibit of Brazilian Street Art opened at the Verve Galeria in São Paulo, Brazil. The opening reception of the exhibit was a huge success. Guests enjoyed refreshments from local food and drink trucks as they were surrounded by artwork and exclusive prints from well known Brazilian and American artists.
After a partnership with Gallery102 at George Washington University and Roxanne Goldberg, 'LEGAL' morphed into an Urban Art Project to be celebrated between two cultures. The exhibit was shown at Porter Contemporary in New York, Maryland Hall in Annapolis, Maryland and finally back to the Verve Galeria in São Paulo.
In the exhibit's final phase, two exclusive pieces of artwork were created by the Urban Walls Brazil street artists and three American artists from Annapolis — Jeff Huntington, Jesse James and Charles Lawrance. Photographs were also on display by Brazilian photographer, Diego Santo Vito and American photographer, David Hartcorn.
'LEGAL' will be on display at Verve Galeria until September 19th.
